University of Pittsburgh, Student Website
As part of the requirements for his web technology class at Pitt, Jonathan created this basic site to summarize his personal aspects and professional experience.
Jonathan is an entrepeneurial web designer. He has an M.S. in Information Science from the University of Pittsburgh (2007) and a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Virginia Tech (1995). He also studied at the University of Salamanca in Spain and speaks Spanish at an advanced level. In his free time he enjoys watching sports, working out, speaking Spanish, playing his Playstation 3, and listening to music. His goal with this website is to get experience with creating websites from templates (don't re-invent the wheel, right?) and ultimately tutor people who have an interest in creating websites. He is also open to take on independent projects. This website contains information about him, both personal and professional, including work experience and course work he has taken. The home page includes some of the web pages he has written, so you can see the progession of making a basic website to a professional design. Enjoy the site, and hasta luego.

This site was created to experiment with GoDaddy's web hosting service. It contains the same information as the student website.
This website was in part created by Jonathan, and he is responsible for its maintenance and administration.
The School of Information Sciences at the University of Pittsburgh is a great program for students who are have a knack for computers and are looking at getting into the IT field. When I started I knew very little about computers, but the background from Pitt really has helped me to become fluent with certain areas of IT.
